At times a colony is in danger of being eliminated because of construction or environmental hazards. We will assist in relocating these cats to safer locations, on a space available basis. RELOCATING A COLONY SHOULD BE THE LAST OPTION CONSIDERED, because moving the cats often has a high rate of disappearance/death.
This is an excellent solution for rodent control in barns, warehouses, and spacious properties with a shed or garage. Property owners agree to take a minimum of two cats, and provide the cats food/water/shelter. All cats are tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, given their initial distemper and rabies vaccines, and spayed or neutered prior to placement. You will be provided with a large cage and supplies – the new cats will remain in the cage for 3 weeks, to become acclimated. This allows the cats to bond with their new caretaker and become familiar with their new surroundings.
