Donations
MAAS could not exist without the generous financial donations of individuals and organizations. Because we don't turn away cats in our area for injury or disease, our medical bills are in excess of $225/cat. (So, the adoption fees we request aren't even close to covering that amount!)
We've had kittens needing burn therapy, hospice care for seniors with kidney failure and cancer, amputations of damaged legs, and far too many babies needing eye removal for advanced disease. We give all of our foster cats the veterinary care they need, and do not euthanize based on injury or disease.

Buddy was abandoned outside by his owners, elderly and ill. MAAS took him in, and gave him the care he needed for his failing kidneys. Buddy was terminally ill, but enjoyed love and comfort in a hospice foster home for 5 months before he passed away, in the arms of his foster mom.
